Amazing Grace

Well, E is resting downstairs with our sweet puppy in his arms. That puppy has been such a blessing for a wiggly boy confined to a chair. They have been able to cuddle and sleep the days away.

Anyway, the procedure went very well. The doctor set the bone and put a plaster cast on (I haven't seen one of those since grade school). He is in a little pain, but the meds are helping that.

E was a very sweet and brave boy and all the nurses and doctors were gentle and kind.

On a funny note, E loved the hospital gown so much he didn't want to take it off to get dressed. We had to promise to put it back on when we got home. The minute we walked in the door he was stripping down to put it on. :)

Thank you so much for all the prayers and love.
